Peter graduated from Queens Univerisity Belfast in 1986, becoming a principal in the Banbridge practice in 1989. He has guided the surgery from a one-man operation to one of the biggest practices in Northern Ireland. His Ethos has been to provide patients with the treatment that they want at a cost they can afford. In 2016 the practices in Comber and Ballynahinch were brought under the umbrella with our aim being to provide high-quality family-based practices across mid-Co Down. Peter is committed to ongoing training in the practice and is one of 36 current DFI trainers in Northern Ireland.
Kirsty Palmer studied at Glasgow university. She graduated 1999. Kirsty worked in Glasgow 1999-2000.
She joined the team at P G Lawson and Associates in August 2000.
Kirsty main interests are composite build-ups, cosmetic crowns but enjoys all areas of general dentistry.
Outside dentistry she enjoys family life, running and socialising with friends.
Sarah graduated from Queens University with a Bachelors of Dental Surgery with a distinction in the practice of Dentistry in 2002.
She has been with P G Lawson & Associates since 2004.
She enjoys treating children and helping anxious patients overcome their fears.
Outside of work Sarah is a mum of 3 boys and enjoys running and walking her beloved dog Nessa.
Darren is originally from Poyntzpass but now lives in Belfast. He graduated from Queens University, Belfast in 2004 and worked as an associate Dentist in Derry for two years and Melbourne for one year before joining the practice in 2007. Darren recently became a Dental Foundation Educational Supervisor 2017/18.
Outside work Darren enjoys hillwalking, world travel, Irish language and GAA.
Brian joined the team in 2013. Brian qualified from Queens University, Belfast in 1998.
After working in England for 3years he returned to Northern Ireland and worked as a senior House Officer in the Royal Victoria, Belfast. He is currently a master in Endodontics at Kings College, London. His practice is limited to endodontics and restoration of endodontic treated teeth, in which he has a special interest.
Helen qualified from Queen's University Belfast in 2009 and joined the practice in 2010 following the completion of her vocational training year in Coleraine. Helen enjoys all aspects of dentistry especially teeth whitening, cosmetic crowns and bridges, and white fillings. Helen is also able to provide anti-wrinkle and line softening treatments for her patients, as well as dermal fillers. Helen enjoys walking, cycling and attending gym classes.
Clare graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a Bachelor of Dental Science degree in 2005.
She completed her vocational training year in Armagh where she continued to work in general practice for a further 7 years.
She joined PG Lawson & Associates in 2013 and enjoys all aspects of dentistry. She particularly enjoys treating children emphasising the importance of preventive care. With her caring and gentle approach, she aims to make their visit a positive experience.
Sinead graduated in 2012 from Queen's University Belfast with BDS.
She completed her vocational training year in this practice and has been working here full time since then. In this time she has gained many skills and has attended various courses to maintain continual professional development. In 2015 Sinead successfully completed her MJDF, postgraduate qualification from Royal College of Surgeons, England. She recently attended a Cosmetic Injectable Training Course and is now fully certified in providing this service to patients. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry including treating children and anxious patients. She also works in Belfast City hospital and Craigavon hospital in the relief of pain clinics out of hours.
Outside of work, she leads an active life. She enjoys socialising with friends and family, retail therapy, babysitting, travelling and exercising!
Aine graduated from Cardiff University Wales in July 2016. She completed her dental foundation year at PG Lawson and Assoc. Banbridge practice, where she gained many skills. In order to keep up with the latest dental advancements and knowledge she frequently attends courses and is currently studying for part 2 of the MJDF exam, which she intends to take in the coming year.
Aine has a particular interest in treating nervous and anxious patients, as her gentle manner helps to put patients at ease. She also enjoys cosmetic dentistry such as tooth whitening, white fillings and she has undergone training in facial cosmetics including anti-wrinkle treatments.
Aine now works between both the Banbridge and Ballynahinch practice. Outside of work she enjoys travelling, socialising with family and friends, as well as relaxing down at her home in Fermanagh.
Siobhan Lively graduated from Queens University Belfast in 2015 and has worked at P. G. Lawson & Associates ever since.
Siobhan enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and particularly restorative dentistry, white composite fillings and anterior cosmetic crowns.
Outside of work Siobhan enjoys spending time with family and friends. She has a love for animals and owns a Labrador named Bailey.
Stewart Hanna graduated from University in 2017.
He joined the practice in September following 7 years in England where I gained degrees in Biomedical Science at Manchester and Dental Surgery at UCLan.
He is particularly passionate about the care of the elderly, prosthodontics and oral surgery.
Outside of work he enjoys CrossFit, tennis and cooking.
Stuart graduated from the University of Dundee in 2009 and has worked throughout Scotland before returning to work in Derry/Londonderry in 2016.
He has an interest in oral surgery, having spent several years working within Hospital oral surgery departments.
Stuart has a calm, considerate nature which aids him in helping even the most nervous of patients have a positive dental experience.
Shaneen graduated from Queens University Belfast in 2017. She joined the practice in February 2018. Shannon is settling in well at Lawson Dental and has been a hit with some of our younger patients!
Linda started her career as a Dental Nurse and receptionist in 1988 before progressing to the role of Practice manager.
Linda attained her National Certificate in 1990 and her certificate in OHE in 1994.
Outside work Linda enjoys Hill walking, cooking & photography.
She is an active member of her local Rainbow Unit.
Jill White qualified from The Royal London School of Medicine & Dentistry in 1999, with Diplomas in Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy. Post graduation she worked in London, before returning home to Northern Ireland. She has been with PG Lawson & Associates since March 2012. Outside work Jill enjoys spending time with her family and friends and has a keen interest in exercising to keep fit and healthy. This has also led her to undertake training in PiYo Live classes which she takes in the little spare time she has left.
Janine qualified from Queens University, Belfast in 2009 as a Dental Hygienist.Previous to this Janine worked as a Dental Nurse for 15 years working in Community and Hospital environments.Janine loves spending time with her family and friends, keen on running, going to the gym and when time allows heads out with her caravan to relax.
Claire has been with the practice since 2007.
She attained her dental nurse qualification in 2008.
Claire is now practice lead in decontamination.Claire enjoys surgery work and helping keep patients calm.
Claire likes swimming and keeping fit in the gym.
Claire started working at PG Lawson & Associates in 2012.
She holds the National Board for Dental Nurses examination.
Claire continues to keep up to date with training and development courses and also enjoys cycling and spending time with her family.
Diana started working at P G Lawson & Associates in 2010. She attained her National Examination in 2012.
Diana enjoys all aspects of dentistry.
Outside of work, Diana enjoys family time , the gym and socialising.
Lindsay went back to college in Sept 2015 to study dental nursing and qualified in March 2017. She was a placement student at PG Lawson & Associates, becoming a full time dental nurse in May 2016.
Lindsay loves her job, because of the variety of people she meets every day.She is a mum of 3 boys who keep her busy outside of work with their various activities.
Belinda joined the practice in 2001.
Prior to that she worked for Dr Billy Vaughan, whose practice amalgamated with P G Lawson and associates.
Belinda has lived in Loughbrickland most of her life.
Outside work she enjoys spending time with her family and her dog.
Alana joined the practice in 2014 and achieved a National Diploma in Dental nursing in 2015.
Alana enjoys working in surgery and helping with decontamination duties.
Outside of work she enjoys going to the gym and shopping.
Stacey has been with Dr Peter Lawson from she has left school 24 years later. She enjoys working in surgery but most of her time is spent making sure the dentists are kept busy! She has a passion for endodontics and is hoping to do a dental nurse course on this in the near future. Her hobbies are running, reading and socialising with friends as well as spending time with her 3 girls which keep her on her toes!
Tanya joined the team back in 2004 and thoroughly enjoys working as a dental health care professional. She is friendly and likes working with children. She keeps up to date with current developments in Dental Nursing and enjoys working within the large team at P G Lawson & Associates.
Outside of work Tanya enjoys family life with her 3 children and socialising with family & friends.
Aoibhin joined the team in 2016 she has recently gained her National Diploma in Dental Nursing.
She enjoys all aspects of dentistry. Aoibhin previously attained BCS in Business Studies.
Outside work Aoibhin enjoys fashion and socialising with family & friends.
Steph joined the team in 2016 as a Dental Nurse. She attained her National Diploma in Dental Nursing in Edinburgh.
Steph is getting used to our Northern Irish accents and is teaching us some Scottish sayings & traditions! She enjoys all aspects of her job.
Outside of work Steph enjoys going to the gym and the occasional movie.
Jenny joined the practice in 2004 as a dental nurse.
As a long-serving member of staff, she has now progressed to the role of Senior Receptionist and enjoys all aspects of her busy role.
Outside of work, she enjoys going to the gym, cookery and jiving.
Melissa joined the practice in October 2016 as a placement student from Belfast Metropolitan College. Since completing her placement she has continued to work for us and has progressed by learning to work at reception as well as in surgery.
In her spare time she enjoys playing hockey for her local club, Kilkeel Hockey Club
Vicki joined the team in 2008 as a dental nurse. She enjoys all aspects of her job.
Outside work Vicki enjoys Zumba, going to the cinema and socialising with family and friends
