James graduated from University of Newcastle upon Tyne in 2006 and completed Vocational training in 2007, he completed his MJDF, postgraduate qualification in 2012. James joined Lawson Dental in September 2017, he previously worked in family NHS / Private practice in the Belfast Area for 11 years. He provides high-quality NHS and private dentistry with a patient centred focus.
He is continually involved in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and has postgraduate training in Dental Implantology and Facial Aesthetics. He has recently completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Education from Queens University and has been a trainer of young dentists in Northern Ireland.He is a member of BDA, Royal College of Surgeons, Dental Protection and fully registered with GDC.
James is married to Holly and has three boisterous boys to occupy his spare time!
Aine graduated from Cardiff University Wales in July 2016.
She completed her dental foundation year in the Banbridge practice.
Aine has successfully completed her MJDF, postgraduate qualification from Royal College of Surgeons, England in order to keep up with the latest dental advancements.
Aine has a particular interest in treating nervous and anxious patients.She also enjoys cosmetic dentistry such as tooth whitening and she has undergone training in facial cosmetics including anti-wrinkle treatments.
Aine now works between both the Banbridge and Ballynahinch practice. Outside of work she enjoys travelling, socialising with family and friends.
Zara joined our Ballynahinch practice when it first opened in January 2016.
She qualified with a diploma in Dental Nursing from NEBDN in 2014 and went on the following year to complete a diploma in Practice Management.
Her friendly approachable manner puts patients at ease and enhances their patient experience.
In her spare time Zara enjoys baking and working off those extra calories in the gym!
Shauna is based in our Ballynahinch Practice. Shauna joined Lawson Dental in 2016 and has worked in the Ballynahinch area as a dental nurse for 7 years previously.
Shauna enjoys providing a caring and empathetic approach to all of our patients.
In her spare time, she enjoys Zumba dancing and going to the cinema.
Aoibhin joined the team in 2016. She has recently gained her National Diploma in Dental Nursing.
She enjoys all aspects of dentistry. Aoibhin previously attained BCS in Business Studies at University of Ulster Jordanstown.
Outside work Aoibhin enjoys fashion and socialising with family & friends.
Claire has been with the practice since 2007.
She attained her dental nurse qualification in 2008.
Claire is now practice lead in decontamination.Claire enjoys surgery work and helping keep patients calm.
Claire likes swimming and keeping fit in the gym.
